Has anyone watched Girls on HBO yet? I recently picked it up, and it's been amazing.
Besides being in my favorite place in the entire world (New York, I'm lookin' at you), I love how it's real, gritty, dirty, ugly and yet beautiful in every single way. All the characters are unique, in that they're flawed. But watching it, you can't help but think: 'hey, I know someone just like that!'
I identity so much with Marnie - grounded, responsible and yet extremely picky in everything, including relationships. And yet, there's something in every character that I admire.
Girls is nothing like Sex and the City. And let's keep it that way.
