To be Angelina Jolie

I'm also a sucker for black and white images. Did I mention that?

Vogue Turkey has really been raising the bar lately. Their covers are stunning and their editorials are breathtakingly fresh, original
and beautiful. I applaud you Turkey!

Here's their March cover starring Angelina Jolie.

Strength in the Woman

I present to you: Kolfinna Kristofersdottir
She's a new face, but her editorial presence is certainly stunning!

And she's from Iceland as well. How cool is that?

Black on Black on Black

Photographed by David Paul Larson for Bambi Magazine:

Say ahhh: Pucci

One thing is always for sure: I'll never tire of Pucci. Although it fits a certain aesthetic, Pucci falls in between the cracks. It could have subtly
hit vulgarity and trashiness, and yet, Pucci always managed to pull through  with absolute elegance and more than a couple ounces of sexiness.

The cuts? The slits? The open and yet not-so-open body skin? That's just pure genius.

Pucci never fails to play with the idea and shape of a woman's body. See? You don't have to show an enormous amount of skin and/or
cleavage to still look "sexy" and sophisticated.

Here are some of my favorite looks from the collection this season:

Season Standout: Calvin Klein

Anyone else catch the Rooney Mara reference?
Calvin Klein outdid itself this season. The clean-cut lines, the simple shapes and yet how he magically tied simplicity together to create
some of the most body-flattering pieces? True skill.

And don't even get me started on the colors. The mix of black hard leather with off-pink brights was clever and genius. These pieces will
easily transition from office appropriate to late night out. So well done Klein!

Back from eternity, my friends

After a long gone absence, I am back! No matter how many times I do it or how many times I tell myself it's going to get better,
studying sucks. Period. While this break isn't exactly going to be relaxation all the time, I am excited to be back. So expect
some regular blog posting until I another big study-a-thon happens!

I leave you with: Imogen Poots

Cover of the Century

Cover of the century:
Natalia Vodianova for Vogue Paris

All I can say is...wow! So timeless and classic.
You wouldn't have known that it was shot in 2012.

And I'm back! (for a moment)

Studying (or at least trying) hard.

It's going to be Friday, the weekend and Monday between now and never.

I know I can do this, so I'm going to push through it!

Dragging myself (unwillingly) through this as we speak...

Adieu! (for now)

So with this week (almost) rolling to an end, I have a shit load of things coming up for next week. Hello midterms anyone?
And I've already worked so hard that I'm not putting it to waste. So I'm going to be blogging on a all time low until next Tuesday night.

Send me your sympathies?

While this week is going to suck beyond all means, I'm going to come out triumphant.
Totally will be doing my own Laura Kampman via Vogue Italia pose below by the time I'm done:

I'm going to kick some ass on these exams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But I'll be back, Tuesday night.
