Architecture Digest

I'll be relocating in a couple of months and am currently in the look out/search for a new apartment! While doing so, I came across a phenomenal apartment/interior design website called apartment therapy. I highly recommend you check it out if art and design are your fortes or interest areas.

One of the best features on this site is a section called "small spaces". Essentially, apartment owners who live in small spaces (some of which can be 250 square feet!) showcase their inside space. I'm consistently amazed and stunned by the smart design choices that people make. Below are some of my favorites!

All Things Models and Covers

In all things high fashion and modeling, these are some of my two favorite fashion people currently. One, the lovely Jourdan Dunn, who has now become the first black model to grace the cover (and solo too!) of RUSSH Magazine. And then there is a newcomer, Farhiya Shire, who is absolutely stunning and gorgeous.

See below for all of their collective amazingness!

Street Style Magic

If you're need inspiration for a future outfit, look no further. These fashionistas rock it, as indicated by their lovely outfits below. Theme of the week? Play with solid, consistent colors and then jazz it up with a pop of contrast.

Items! Items! Items!

I used to purchase fast, low-quality items for inexpensive prices. But I found they would soon start having holes and fall out fast. Once, I wore my favorite pair of Forever 21 purple skinny jeans, only for it to endue two holes and ripped seams one year later. So to those thinking about the thrill of shopping, I urge you to potentially think and plan long term!

It's wise to invest high quality items (sure to be pricier, but also sure to last longer). A great designer online retail site is called the outnet.com. They feature a huge selection of designers (think of the likes of  Givenchy and Alexander Wang, but also to the more commercial like Ann Taylor and J.Crew).

Here are some of my favorite pieces from Stella McCartney and the lovely Iris & Ink.

For your inner classy lady, praise Dior!

I was skeptical of Raf Simons when he took over creative leadership at Christian Dior. But now I can firmly say with a sigh and a relief that it was the best decision the label has ever made. The recent resort collection has honestly got to be the best Dior collection to date since Simons' debut. Phenomenal fabric movement, fantastic dresses and amazing design ideas.

Simons certainly embodied the modern-classy woman take on Dior's very historical, tradition-tied house. I absolutely LOVED this collection. See some of my favorites below!

More Cannes!

Going out of my usual comfort zone for a second here...but I spotted these lovely looks at the Cannes Film Festival! Some of the looks are a bit more "fancy" for my taste, but ultimately have that great simplicity and cleanness as the foundational base, which I really do love. See these looks on Zoe Saldana (Lanvin), Jessica Biel (Marchesa) and Jessica Chastain (Unknown) below!

Page revamped!

Decided to go for a new change, so welcome to the new Better Than Never! Hopefully, you'll find it cleaner, easier to go through and the quality of the images will shine out. Excuse the misalignment in images in later pages (I'll go through those and make those changes when I have time). But cheers!

How to be cool

Take style notes from the ACNE party in New York! As is my mantra, keep the color palette clean, simple and sophisticated. Make things a bit "loose-tight", wear a nice blazer, shrug that leg out a little, and keep your hair easy and french messy. It's the perfect compliment to the perfect cool-ridden summer.

See Alana Bunte, Alana Zimmer, Jacquelyn Jablonski, and Ji Hye Park below.

Cannes

It's always a tricky line to fashion (pun intended) at the Cannes Film Festival. How exactly do you dress without over-dressing and looking incredibly tacky? Well, my two ladies Nicole Kidman and Carey Mulligan obviously have it down! Nicole Kidman's Alexander McQueen piece and Carey Mulligan's Balenciaga one-piece are classy, simple, elegant but also very regal and beautiful.

For your next fancy event, take note?
